Bricking it about the Crick

The book is growing big legs it seems. After emailing my manuscript to the publishing company, it has apparently been read by a couple of professional readers for their opinion.

It’s looking very positive. I thought I’d have to rewrite the whole thing.

Between myself and the Publisher in Chief, we have decided to promote the book which will be in Waterstones (WATERSTONES!!!) mid May to correspond with series 2 of Narrow Escapes airing on C4.

We’re going to promote it at Crick Boat Show! Slightly bricking it. To make it less overwhelming I’m taking my mate Jules, the publisher and my little boat to Crick for the duration of the show.

I’m so looking forward to beginning my boating travels again to get there. I can only set off on April 15th, after the Narrow Escapes launch party (It was great fun last year, I’ll let you know how this next one goes)

Before that though, the bloody boat needs to be fixed. We’re still waiting for that part to turn up from Norway. Utter torture.
